ACLAMO Pottstown holds its 4th Annual Flu Shot Clinic
Eleven-year-old Raymundo Velaquez grimaced as he received his flu shot at ACLAMO Family Center’s annual flu vaccine clinic held on October 25th at the Pottstown office. “It wasn’t that bad”, Raymundo exclaimed courageously, “it only hurt for a second!” This free clinic has been held at ACLAMO’s Pottstown office for the last 4 years.
“Today, in partnership with the Montgomery County Health Department, 61 flu vaccines were given to low income families.” said Case Manager, Glendalys Delgado, “We recognize the long-term benefits of this preventive measure, especially for our typically underserved community.”
