Phillies and Goya Latino Night

This September 3rd, 2010, Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, teamed up with the Philadelphia Phillies to host the Goya Latino Family Celebration & Food Drive at Citizens Bank Park in conjunction with that evening’s Phillies-Brewers game.

The celebration paid tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month and included on-field performances from national and local artists, as well as a food drive to help needy families in the Latino community. The evening also featured the presentation of the Phillies Goya Family Service Award to Adamino and Ruth Ortiz for their tireless contributions to the Latino community. As you may be aware, Adamino Ortiz served as ACLAMO’s Executive Director for more than 27 years. We are so proud of this honor and wish Adamino and his family our deepest congratulations.
